I am lucky that I grew up in the middle of the mountains and that's why I like to walk since my childhood. You can say: hiking is my lifeblood! It keeps you healthy, young and happy - I am totally convinced of that! I am always very happy when I can show our guests my favorite places around our hotel in the dolomites. It can be said that our hiking hotel in the Puster Valley is the ideal starting point for a hiking holiday in the Dolomites. The Dolomites are landscapes enriched by their wild, majestic beauty soul & heart.

For walks in seven valleys - one of them is more beautiful than the next - our hotel in South Tyrol in the Puster Valley is the perfect starting point! The Puster Valley with its well-known Lake Lago di Braies, rushing waterfalls, the South Tyrolean flora and fauna in the Sexten Dolomites, the Fanse-Sennes-Prags Nature Park and the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park ... all these areas offer countless numbers of hiking opportunities in all levels of difficulty. From the light pleasure tour or family tour to the challenging summit tour. All this (almost) in front of your own room door during your holiday in the dolomites.
Hiking paradise on the doorstep - on Kronplatz / Plan de Corones
Do you prefer starting your walk directly from the hotel? Also this is possible with us! With just a few steps you can reach the Panoramaweg in Reischach. Or how about a walk through woods and meadows to the town of Bruneck/Brunico? If you want to go up, you can reach the peak of Kronplatz /Plan de Corones right behind our hotel. The cable car that lifts you up is just 500 meters from our hotel. From the panoramic platform on the Kronplatz summit you can enjoy a gigantic view over an impressive world of Dolomite and Alpine peaks and valleys. The MMM Museum (Messner Mountain Museum) designed by Zaha Hadid is also located there and is not only architecturally worth a visit. The view is terrific!
Our service for a hiking holiday in South Tyrol
As a hiking hotel in the Dolomites, we offer varied guided hikes every day from Monday to Friday. Either we march away from the hotel or we take our private shuttle to a very special place - such as the Würzjoch. Our summer activity program is very versatile and includes not only family hikes but also demanding mountain hikes for summiteers. And for anyone who prefers to walk alone ... We advise you at the front desk when planning the hiking tour! We have some good tips, from a short walk to a several-hour hiking trip. It all depends on what you like best: the most beautiful view, the highest peak, the best photo opportunity, the best South Tyrolean specialties, or ... oh there's so much more ...
