#1 the Knuttenalm: the perfect hike with the whole family
On the Knutten-Alm, which is located in Rein in Taufers in the Ahrntal valley and in the middle of the Rieserferner-Ahrn nature park, leads a comfortable, only slightly ascending forest path, which is also accessible for baby strollers or buggys. Therefore perfect for the whole family. After about an hour you can expect a great panorama, unique atmosphere and best home cooking.
#2 Hochrautalm: with attention to detail
The Hochrautalm in the Anterselva valley is particularly appealing to us, as it is also managed by three sisters. The sisters lead the alpine hut with much love. And because love is know to go through the stomach, everybody who loves good food should definitly plan a trip to this alpine hut!
#3 Uwaldalm: Prosecco in a jam jar
The Uwaldalm in Gsies is one of the most popular alpine huts in the Puster Valley. On saturdays you get there (on pre-order) even a very special mountain breakfast ... anyway there are lots of culinary highlights on the idyllically located hut, which you should not miss!
#4 Dürrensteinhütte: What a view!
The alpine hut "Dürrensteinhütte" is located in the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park on the high plateau of the "Plätzwiese" or Prato Piazza. The hut is surrounded by the dolomites mountain, the Tofana, the Monte Cristallo and you even see the Three Peaks of the Dolomites. A panoramic view with a real "wow-effect".
