How long have I been at the hotel
With the support of my father and of my brothers and sisters, I opened the Hotel Petrus in 1977. All my passion - and that of my wife Gertrud - has gone into the hotel. Even as a teenager I was never satisfied and continually wanted to improve things. It was the same with the hotel. Previously a 3-star hotel, it has turned into something very special over the last few years, and it's something I'm very proud of. Again and again I notice more and more things which can be done and which I take on with delight. One can say that I'm quite a motivated type!

I'm the only rooster in the family yard - and I love it that way!
These are my responsibilities at the Hotel Petrus:
Thanks to my green fingers, I help our vegetable garden to thrive – and with both hands I help to keep up with all the little repairs that are necessary ;-) I'm also a passionate handicraftsman and love creating new works of art!
As a qualified ski instructor, I'm your ski guide in the Dolomites and as a passionate golfer I'm also the ideal playing partner for our guests. At reception I prefer to keep myself in the background because my girls are better at it than me.

What you shouldn't miss while on holiday at the Hotel Petrus. My tip:
Come with me on a morning ski tour – I actually love to be on the slopes before I get up ;-)
