Hiking holiday in the Dolomites of South Tyrol
"I love to be in the mountains, that's where my soul is free ...
... where the alpine roses grow and the gentians bloom." This song comes from the heart. Ever since being a small child I've loved to go hiking. Hiking is my elixir of life! It keeps me healthy and young - I'm convinced about that!
I will be more than happy if you come with me and I can show you the Dolomites, the Alps and my favourite places around our hiking hotel Petrus in the Pustertal valley. It's a landscape that is enriched by its wild, heartening and majestic beauty. And when my heart is brimming with happiness, it could be that I just happen to sing about it out loud. And if you fancy, just sing along too!

Our service for your hiking holiday in South Tyrol
When hiking from the hiking hotel in Pustertal, we offer a variety of daily guided hiking tours. We'll either start right from the hotel or we'll take a shuttle to somewhere special - for example the Pragser natural lake, hemmed in by the Dolomites. In addition to 'my' hikes, our hiking guides from the Kronplatz resort offer more demanding mountain hikes for mountaineers. These are also available as part of the Petrus active program.
While hiking from the hiking hotel in Pustertal, we can advise you on the planning of your tour - from simple walks to hikes of several hours: Whether you fancy a route taking you to the most beautiful panorama views, photographing the most delicate mountain flowers, walking in the steps of the Romans or through the pastures with their South Tyrolean specialities – I'm more than ready to provide you with my best tips.
Take a South Tyrolean apple from the fruit basket at the entrance or a glass of our Petrus spring water. On request we will also prepare some delicious snacks for you to take with you.
I'm looking forward to sharing in your experience of the beautiful Tyrolean mountains!
