Nordic walking hotel in the middle of the Nordic walking park
Our hotel at the Kronplatz in Pustertal is located right in the middle of Europe's biggest Nordic walking park. Right behind our hotel is the amazing panorama path, one of my favourites. It leads you through the forest on the soft floor, along the Kaserbach stream and opens up once again to superb views of the Zillertal Alps and Dolomites on the opposite side.
In total there are over 275 kilometres of extremely well signposted Nordic walking routes for your pleasure. "Nature. Fitness. Park. Kronplatz-Dolomiti" is the name of the park. The park extends from Pfalzen to Bruneck and from Olang to Rasen. The variety of easy and medium routes with their varying height profile is truly enormous. There's really something for everyone - for leisurely walkers and families through to routes for trained athletes.

Personally, I love walking. I can feel the energy flowing through me even more so than when hiking. And at the same time I'm doing something for by back. 80% of the back, chest and arm muscles are activated while walking. The cardiovascular system is invigorated and and pressure on the knees is relieved. Furthermore, you burn 400 calories per hour.
Why not come on a walk with me and my husband Hans? As part of the guests active programme, the Nordic walking hotel at the Kronplatz offers walking tours once a week. Hans is a qualified Nordic walking trainer and can show you the correct techniques and correct use of the sticks.
