Dolomiti Super Ski
Familiarise yourself, on skis, with the beauty of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage site
Bizzare white-gray rugged ridges and rock faces that stretch 3,342 metres into the sky - that's the Dolomites. Winter transforms this unique World Heritage site into an incomparable and top class skiing paradise.
This worldwide unique area covers more than 1,200 kilometres of slopes and 12 different ski regions! The great thing is, you only need one ski pass, the Dolomiti Superski ski pass, to enjoy your adventure stretching out across the province of South Tyrol, Trentino and Belluno. You can pick up a Dolomiti Superski ski pass from my daughter at reception.
Skiing on gentle mountain pastures and on World Cup slopes
In winter there are the gentle mountain pastures of the Dolomites for the beginners (360 kilometres of blue runs) and for the experts and world cup skiers there are the steep, difficult slopes (120 kilometres of black runs) between the steep, rugged peaks. In between there are 720 kilometres of intermediate red runs. The diversity that the Dolomiti Superski area has to offer is simply unimaginable.
Go with me to the Sella Ronda!
Once a week I offer accomplished skiers the chance to experience something unforgettable: a tour with me to the Sella Ronda. I'm always happy when I can accompany you to the Dolomiti Superski area. Simply step on the Petrus shuttle bus that's waiting outside our hotel in the Alps!
Begin at the Kronplatz
If you would like to discover the slopes of the Dolomites yourself: the Sella Ronda is easily reached from the Kronplatz. The Kronplatz ski area is connected by shuttle bus to the Alta Badia. I'm more than pleased to be able to give you some personal tips and information for your ski holiday in the Dolomites here at the hotel.
The Dolomiti Superski ski pass is valid for: Cortina d'Ampezzo, the Kronplatz, Alta Badia, Seiser Alm, Karersee, Marmolada, Hochpustertal, Obereggen, Passo rolle-Pass, Eisacktal and Civetta. 12 ski regions, combined with traditional South Tyrolean hospitality, Italian sunshine and quaint mountain lodges all entice you during a wonderful skiing holiday in the Dolomites of South Tyrol at the Hotel Petrus.
For me, skiing in the Dolomites is always an absolute highlight - even though I've been on skis for over 50 years. It's just stunning!
