Tobogganing at the Kronplatz in South Tyrol

Lots of fun during your winter holiday in South Tyrol

Tobogganing isn't about breaking records, it's about having fun. When the skates are crunching on the snow and the snow is drifting down, then there's no stopping young or old! That also applies for my sister and I - and that's why we'd love to go tobogganing with you!

A little lively tobogganing just has to be a part of a winter holiday in the Pustertal valley in South Tyrol. Tobogganing is one of the most popular winter pastimes in Pustertal and has a long tradition both for children and adults!

Tobogganing fun at the Hotel Petrus during your winter holiday in South Tyrol

The new 10 metre wide toboggan run at the base station is just 500 metres away from our Hotel Petrus. On the 1.6 kilometre long run, both you and your children can master the curves and overcome the 150 metre drop. Getting up to the top is easy with the "Korer Express" cable car. The Korer toboggan slope is open from 9am till 5pm, and also twice during the week until 10pm (Tuesdays and Thursdays).

My tobogganing tip for night owls

Moonlight tobogganing in Stefansdorf is both great fun and mystically romantic. You can first walk for about an hour, in the moonlight up to Heidenberg and stop off at the cosy Heidenberg inn. After tha it's off you go! Sweeping quickly down into the valley, it's great fun!
