Prefer indoor adventures?

PETRUS has a small children’s playroom with all kinds of toys and books. Come evening, there’s a children’s cinema, and our bar offers a large selection of wooden games for fun times together.

If the outdoors is what you are drawn to...

we also have children’s mountain bikes for hire. And what could be more enticing than this – especially in summer? Our swimming pool and garden offer ample space for everyone. Families with children can also enjoy our family sauna. While our wellness area is a sanctuary for relaxation, children are also encouraged to have their share of fun – always mindful and respectful of fellow bathers, of course.

 

… and all around

 

There are several playgrounds near PETRUS, three of which are located within a one-kilometre radius. For a slightly larger play area, we recommend the Kinderwelt Olang, the Kurpark Niederdorf or one of the many family parks on the surrounding mountains – easily accessible by cable car: at Kronplatz, at the foot of Kreuzkofel, on the Haunold or in the Ahrntal valley. There are also many opportunities for shorter walks around PETRUS.


For children enamoured of animals, there is a small animal park in Reischach, or you can visit the Reierhof show farm in Gsies, organise an excursion to the wildlife park in Toblach or check out Assling Wildlife Park in East Tyrol.


The KronAction high ropes course is the largest in South Tyrol and offers an unforgettable, adrenaline-packed family adventure. The tree house course is ideal for small children.

There are also various ski schools for ambitious snow fans on the Kronplatz in winter.
